How licences work

Every product on this site carries one of the licences below, and the product page says which. This page explains what the words mean. The product’s own licence terms always take precedence over this summary.

Personal & commercial use (no resale)

This is the licence on our planners, spreadsheets and trackers. It means:

  • You may use the file for yourself and for your own business, for as long as you like.
  • You may print it as many times as you need, for yourself.
  • You may not resell it, share it, give it away, upload it anywhere public, or list it as your own product.
  • You may not remove our name from it and pass it off as yours.

In short: it’s a tool for you to use, not stock for you to sell.

Private Label Rights (PLR)

Some of our e-books and guides are sold with Private Label Rights. Where that’s the case, the product page says so, and the licence document inside the download sets out the exact terms. In general a PLR licence lets you:

  • Edit the content, add to it, and put your own name and brand on it.
  • Sell the edited product to your own customers, or use it as a lead magnet.
  • Use it as source material for your own courses, emails or posts.

A PLR licence generally does not let you sell or give away the original, unedited file, claim you created it where the licence forbids that, or pass PLR rights on to your customers unless the licence says you may. Read the licence page inside the download before you build on it.

Why we’re fussy about this

Licence confusion is the biggest source of trouble in the digital-product world — people buy something believing they can resell it and find out later they can’t. We’d rather lose a sale than have that conversation after the fact. If a product page isn’t clear, ask before you buy.

Not legal advice

This page is a plain-English guide, not legal advice. Your responsibilities under a licence are set by the licence itself and the law where you operate.
